Dyslexia Tutoring in maths, English and study skills:
“Rory struggled in school as he has dyslexia. While he had some resource support in school and worked hard at home he still struggled to keep up with the class. Next year, being his Junior Cert year, I decided to engage Máire O’Brien as his home tutor. Since she started working him his confidence has grown. And at year end prize giving he won a gold medal for the student who made the most progress over the year.” (May 2017) David Quinn, Rathgar, Dublin 6.

Parents’ testimonials:
“I would highly recommend this computer and maths programme ... my daughter has become much more confident at maths and this is definitely linked to the positive teaching style. Each week she came home with certificates or stars, highlighting her personal achievements. She seemed to really enjoy the class and, from my perspective, her Drumcondra STEN results are evidence of the benefits … from a STEN of 6 (in both 1st and 2nd class) to a STEN of 8* in her latest results.
Thanks to all the team, and we will be back next September”
Aisling Power, parent, Rathfarnham, 2015 (Leap course)
[* STEN of 8 is in the top 1/6 level of the country in the national numeracy assessments. STEN of 6 is average and accounts for 1/3 of students nationally.]
“Our daughter, Aoife, loves her computer class every week. Her maths in school has risen to 100% and her teacher is delighted. It is a very educational program while learning through fun and games. Aoife looks forward to her class every week. Many thanks for making it so enjoyable”.
Lorraine, mother of 7 year old girl, Rathfarnham, 2015
“My daughter scored a result of 97% in her end-of-year maths test which was an extraordinary improvement on previous test results. Please keep me advised as to when and where classes resume in September as I do not want to miss the opportunity to avail of same again“
